CNETE appoints Joshua Cavero Vasquez as Administrative Technician

Joshua Cavero Vasquez is now part of the team as an Administrative Technician.

Joshua started working at CNETE in 2018 after his DEP (vocational degree) in accounting for a one-year replacement. Following this contract, he enrolled in the Bachelor of Accounting program at HEC Montréal. The opportunity to work with CNETE again arose in 2020 during the pandemic, following his return to Shawinigan, when courses were given online. Thanks to this experience, he concluded that it was possible to reconcile education and employment. Joshua graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 2023.

As part of his position at CNETE, Joshua is mainly responsible for processing and monitoring accounts receivable, as well as producing accounting reports. He is also involved in day-to-day accounting activities, the financial monitoring of subsidized and non-subsidized projects, and contributes to the development and implementation of management standards and tools.

Outside of work, Joshua is very active, and particularly enjoys sports: running, gym training and soccer, which he plays at the highest level in Quebec.
