June 12, 2018
On June 7, as part of its annual symposium, the Association québécoise de pédagogie collégiale paid tribute to Katy Leduc, a Biotechnologies Professor at Shawinigan College, by awarding her with an honourable mention to recognize the excellence of her work.
Katy Leduc is committed to a continuous search for learning experiences for her Laboratory Technology students. She is also a Research Scientist in Molecular Biology and introduces her students to the challenges of the research field, in her courses, as part of the internships offered in the College’s Centre for the Transfer of Technology (CCTT) and even abroad, where her students are now in demand.
She is a boundless educational inspiration and sets up scientific extracurricular activities, sponsors students during the CCTT’s openness to student innovation contest and co-organizes a humanitarian internship in Senegal, nothing less!
Shawinigan College salutes Mrs. Leduc’s excellent work and offers heartfelt congratulations!
